Waking up to Wisdom
The Call of the Divine Feminine
with Christina Sell and Mary Angelon Young
The ancient imagination of Sophia represented a way of connecting to the intricacies and surprising potencies that create and sustain the living world. Sophia, as the energy of creation, was seen as the mother of all the forms of life. Sophia as daughter represented all the potentials that reside inside each person, inside the earth, and within all the living relationships that make up the world. Sophia, as the Soul of the World, symbolized the wisdom hidden within the multiple elements of life, but also the essential unity that underlies the body of the world.

The crises and conflicts of our time on Earth are revealing an urgent necessity to return to a deeper source of resilience that springs from the feminine wisdom principle. As women and men, we hear the call of the goddess within in ways that are unique to every individual, for the feminine path of transformation is one of being, becoming, and belonging to oneself—and therefore to the world. Each one of us is called forward to strengthen our innate gifts and to recognize that love, respect, tolerance, compassion, and forgiveness cannot be legislated.
Guided by feminine wisdom, we discover that hope and healing emerges organically from within the body, heart, and soul through direct encounters with our inner depths and deepest truths. We are called to embody what we have learned, to move toward and through uncertainty, feelings of grief and loss, helplessness or fear, allowing our experience to weave and stretch the inner fabric of our lives so that meaningful expressions can flourish.
Far from an intellectual exercise or a simple self-improvement strategy, this kind of inner work involves a courageous encounter with shadow and light, with hope and despair, with our human drives and mystical longings. This 3-day intensive is designed to stir your creative imagination, awaken your heart, and ground your senses through asana, writing, storytelling, and explorations of the sacred within a circle of fellow travelers on the path of wisdom.
Christina Sell and Mary Angelon Young, both known for their down-to-earth teaching of spirituality and passionate engagement of healing and transformative practices, share compassionate guidance, inspiring contemplations, and soulful conversations. All are welcome.
